Nuclear is not cheap at all . 95 pounds per kwh at todays prices and onlt to get more expensive as costs go up ? I don't think so . More than a decade to build . What do we do for power in the meantime ?

Yes , it is safe but when it goes wrong it goes very , very wrong . How many people die when a solar panel loses it's efficiency after twenty years ? Can you imagine how efficient , cheap and reliable a solar panel will be in 20 years ? How will that compare to a nuclear power station with today's technology that will only just be finished in that time ?
