It was very brave of Angela Merkel and the markets predictably hated it. It created chaos. Meanwhile the Aussie dollar continues its slump while gold holds up quite well in US dollars, meaning it is currently $A1,425 an ounce. Anyone care to hazard a guess if and when it will hit $A1,500 again?
