So much for all the deceitful crap posted as fact on this forum about Germany continuing to build new coal fired power stations, now we learn of what's really happening.
Unlike Australia's worker-hating government, reports indicate that thus far not a single worker has been sacked as black coal joins the dodo bird and within 20 years all coal operations will as well.
Whereas the German Government has budgeted $65 billion to support the retraining and future of coal workers, in Australia the Coalition is still working overtime to prop up Old King Coal. It's doing even less to support coal worker retraining than it did for those workers sacked when it caused the end of Australia's car manufacturing sector.
