My gut feeling tells me, that it is just a " Talk " to find out what the next " Move " will be.
The Judge / Judges may tell the parties after all this time what the " Court appointed Expert " came up with, and what the " Consequences " might be.But .....I could be wrong !

Today we got this.
The German Supreme Court called the parties to attend a hearing in relation to ipernica’s appeal on 23 September 2008. Ipernica now advises that the hearing was held yesterday and the judges have adjourned to deliberate. A decision is expected within a few days.
