Germany is quite capable of storing its gold in Germany. There is absolutely no need to have one ounce of German gold stored in the USA.
Now let's assume the USA has acted within the law and looked after Germany's gold in USA storage. One would of course expect nothing less from a law abiding democracy which claims to speak for the Western World.
