Now that Deutschland has entered a technical recession - or a real recession for parts of its population - how will this impact on its decisions about supporting Ukraine militarily and financially?
Well obviously it will have a gradual withdrawal effect. Germany has never been an enthusiastic participant in the support for Ukraine effort. I think it's fair to say that. It has had to be cajoled into what it has done by the Americans and more enthusiastic EU partners.
If its support is seen to be.slowing though it can only encourage others to pull back.
