Won't we only need cheering if we can't adjust to the myth of annual growth ... the kind that goes on forever ... and ever?

Things goes in cycles ... but a decade or two ago globalism was the rage ... corporate America satisfied investors with increasing profits by "off-shoring" to emerging nations where labour was "efficient" ... is it only now that the loss of productive capacity and meaningful employment is rued?

There is life and living beyond that latest flat screen, fridge, clothes and car. Keep it simple and real imo.

There is much to be cheerful for, but it is unlikely to be delivered by Gerry.
