I bet the retailer loved you telling him how you beat his prices by "going direct". I bet the distributor would love to hear you describing his business as a criminal rip off.
The distributor employs people - he probably supports the product here, carries stock, pays customs duties, taxes, leave loadings, four weeks annual leave, sick leave and superannuation, and god help him if he gets an unfair dismissal case against him.
A lot of posters surely haven't read Norman's comments.
