They went for the ‘maiden approval’ for children under 12 for GVHD as there was no effective treatment for them. They probably assumed that the FDA had compassion & empathy for suffering & defenceless children….totally wrong on that one. They also assumed that as BP had no treatment to offer the cohort then the FDA would put out the welcome mat because MESO wouldn’t be taking almighty $$$ from BP….wrong again …BP tentacles reach everywhere just because they can. Now here we are…..GVHD cohort are being serviced….FDA are happy…..tick for them….BP are happy ….MSC’s are stuck on the delay train for god knows how long….it’s coming up to 4 yrs …..and they keep their $$$….only loser meso & SH….footing the bill for life saving treatment …..receiving no favours at all for doing it from the FDA….spending millions we simply can’t afford….and we get to do it again for another 3 quarters before we have to raise again. Merry Xmas everyone ….like last year and the year before .. enjoy your piece of coal.
