The problem I have with all these crises is that their solutions always end up making those who caused them very much richer, and thus more powerful.
Taking Greece as an example, and from memory, the population of the whole country is only 10 million, and whereas it may be a very nice place (I presume, I haven't been there, unless you count a two hour stopover in Athens airport to refuel) Greece is not noted for being any sort of economic powerhouse as far as I know; but that could very well be its attraction.
There's no less and no more of anything real than there was a few months ago before all this manipulation. Of course the fact that it it totally artificial does not make its effects any less real.
But perhaps I am just cynical because I have been awake since 3am.
