the 1920s sound just like the past 15 years in so many ways. They crashed in a few days then had a depression. We have a deeper market with sophisticated buffers and so we crashed over a year. But we still crashed. and I doubt we've finished. Not til a large banking system crashes somewhere and gets nationalised. Hopefully it won't be us but we'll likely close in panic for a while i reckon. Maybe I'm just a fruitcake. We'll see. It wouldn't suprise me and I'll be happy to take on the label.
