    Taking a $4.00 share price, the dividend yield on a filly franked basis is exactly 10% assuming dividends continue at 28c per share plus the franking credit. In fact, come 2014 tax year, Telstra indicated they were predisposed to using the NBN funds to increase the dividend

    Even at $4.00 its still a steal given cash deposits return 5 to 6% . I have been buying up progressively from $2.90 until recently. The only thing that will cause me to part with my shares is when I see people stop using phones, and judging by the fact that most young people are endlessly texting I dont see any change in
    e- communications behaviour in my lifetime !!!
