I wander if Tabcorp is part of this also remembering the media were suggesting a consortium led by Tripp were going to make an offer for Tab. also noting that the demerger of Tabcorp is due to be completed by mid-2022- and this consortium not taking a bet in the first half of 2022.... can join the dots. was the Bet bid of Tab to get a seat at the table to progress this consortium... maybe.
