The water is starting to heat up. The shorters have a choice - jump now or wait until it gets too hot that they are boiled.

Personally, I hope the latter. I hope that they were greedy enough to add some leverage too.

I hope this rallies hard and fast, past their target prices and in the process of doing so, inflicts a great deal of financial pain on them. Because this is the only way they will learn, when it hits them in their wallets and their bonuses. Retail shareholders can't easily short, and if they can (e.g. CFDs), it is nowhere near to the same degree as the insto's can. Thus, you could say that things are at a high risk of being easily manipulated, especially on thin volumes or when a price gaps. That's not an 'efficient market', that's an artificial one and an inequitable one at that in my opinion.
