Big money got out after the TAB bid unfortunately (thats the way the cookie crumbles). And they probably got in and out again off the 50% gain from the bottom of the correction.

5M+ shorts and climbing - retail alone won't move the price up.

If you're looking ST - RSI tracking towards oversold, with the start of the week usually slow and end of the week usually stronger.
XJO red two days in a row currently in an uptrend. Predicting market to go up by end of the week, good scalping opportunity for Bet shares. Or even just wait for the price to hit $1. Good buying to add 10% ST.

With that being said, it really depends on the news they bring out with FOs US. It seems the longer they take investors lose confidence and patience.
This could drop below that magic $1 line if they don't announce anything good until AGM, especially with the looming bid for WA TAB.

As much as I see that as a great thing, it doesn't seem like the majority investors are in favour of that decision.
Next 6 months may be a bumpy ride. But the end result is all that matters.
