I lived for 15yrs in Germany and contrary to the comments from people who think it is a scam to make the 30% premium

The German gov know better than most what happens when inflation gets out of control..As with thier media which gives a much more balanced view of current events than our VERY watered down 'news' programs here which i know refuse to watch.

I belive they are giving people the chance to exchange cash for gold in preparation for coming yrs and destruction of fiat currencies. These small tradable pieces of gold resemble the treasury bonds made available in the 30s in exchange for work/commodities and untouchable by the shorters

If Rudd had any sense he would also give main street the opportunities..rather than live under a rock!
