get in early to shale gas, page-17

Interesting, almost full page, story on shale gas in this weekend's 'Australian Financial Review', page 18.
Story by Angela Macdonald-Smith (and a P. Williams) and from my numerous readings of the AFR over recent years, Angela Macdonald-Smith tends to get very good info on the Australian oil and gas explorers.
Story does not mention OBL, or even directly mention the Canning Basin but it is an interview with Mike Yeager (BHP) but halfway through the article Yeager states that BHP is
"studying every square inch of onshore Australia".

That statement alone tells me he has to have, or will be, looking closely at OBL, given he further states BHP:
"owes it to ourselves and our shareholders to make sure it is ready to react to any major move into local shale by a rival"
(Weekend Australian Financial Review,p.18, by Angela Macdonald - Smith and Perry Williams).

The OBL Derby block has to be showing up on their radar.
