Lots of good folk would be lost by compulsory churning - Howard for example would have been well gone from politics by now as would many good people on all sides. I would, however, favour four year fixed terms with the prime minister not being able to serve more than two terms as P.M.
Getting rid of the rubbish must be attended to by the parties themselves even if they have not been able to to date.
