Guys,
We are seeing an exodus from the share market. No matter what the DJIA does the ASX still drops.
Whilst this is terrible news we need to look for opportunities in this, that is, if we are investors.
I saw this in 1987 and then again in 1999. On each occasion I saw a mass wave of little-guy investors say "stuff this" and move back to property in droves. I am seeing it again.
I saw property prices literally double in 1987-1989. I saw property prices triple from 1999-2004 and this time I think we are going to see excellent rises again.
We all know interest rates are on their way down.
We all know immigration is going up.
We all know the building industry has not been building many new houses.
We all know that the vacancy rates are very low for existing homes.
We all know rents are moving up.
We all know that nothing has changed with zoning laws to accelerate new land being opened up.
It's all coming together (again) and 2009-2012 will be great for property investment.
There's nothing new in what I have just said. We have all been saying it for quite some time. I just hope that some of the doomsayers can finally see what is coming and get on board this time before they miss out yet again.
