I understand where you are coming from having also travelled extensively and Australia is always a wonderful place to come home.
My concern is that this government's unwanted decisions such as carbon tax and lax border security could drag us down towards third world conditions. The billions of dollars apparently to go overseas due to carbon tax has to be found somewhere. This sort of money just can't be plucked out of thin air - many people will likely be forced to live a poorer life style and that is not what I want to see for my grandkids.
The massively growing debt is a concern to the future well being of this country especially in the light of the massively increased revenue enjoyed by this government and shown by the snapshot below which was taken from an interview with Costello.
Surely we need a government in power who will attempt to keep this country running at it's present standards?
