Maybe hard to explain, but in a nutshell, the Chinese grandparents take charge in looking after baby''s at the moment, meanwhile Chinese mothers "sit the month" which basically means they are not doing anything for one month after giving birth. (Google sitting the month China)
They also have baby's mostly by cesarean and would do anything to keep their bodies looking like pre-baby and breast feeding does something unfortunately to this pre-baby body.
