It amazes me how vitriolic some people can be. Whilst The Management team were attempting to run the business on a tight budget, what were The Shorters doing earning a tidy profit whilst helping to sink the future of HDR. Yet nobody on this board has attacked The Shorters for their part in the demise of HDR.
I bought into a company more than two years ago when it was setting new highs for the share price and had wonderful prospects at the time as far as I was concerned. I had studied The Technicals and The Fundamentals. Then we had the opportunity to capture a top BP empolyee now 18 months later we are blaming him for all the ills that have beset HDR. Get real he had nothing to do with Mauritania problems both on shore and off shore. It was a combination of what went before he arrived and bad luck while he has been here.
Why dont you give the bloke a break and accept the bad luck that has befallen the company. After all his name is Potter not Merlin
