very true and it hasn't got mainstream support partly for that reason. We are talking about millimeters per year which is not a simple task. It will probably take more than 20-30 years of sat data.
A book like Why Expanding Earth edited by Scalera & Jacob goes into this.
But look at the gross evidence, I find it very convincing.
