I sent a couple of suggestions to the Minister for Finance and Superannuation for the review last year.
Only got a response on one, re: Early Retirement option and got the standard line, we don't want people accessing their superannuation early and running their balance down.
All I see from the review is it will be harder to get your money.
I'd like to be wrong, but I don't hold high hopes for it.
We have a growing, aging population.. Super is seen as National Savings, not your money.
Expect in time... Preservation Age to continue to rise. Lump Sum Withdrawals limited or even stopped and the requirement to take your Superannuation as an Annuity or Superannuation Pension.
