I agree with quite a lot you said, part from a few points:
MCB said he wanted to kill coal basically ASAP. Heard and watched him with my own eyes on the computer screen. Half of us knew it was bullshit and now we are being shown we were right. I am also an amateur investor and it makes you think how can someone so amateur like myself can be so smart that I was able to criticise what Mr Atlassian was saying, confidently say that he's dead wrong and then a mere few weeks later be prove to be absolutely dead smack on correct.
Another point I believe in and I think people need to harp on about it more. MCB is tech. He's good at tech. He is successful because of tech. he does not have a lifetime of specialisation in other fields. I was saying the same shit about Mr Zuckerberg's Metaverse, spruiked that his idea was absoutely terrible only to be dismissed and banned from x, y, z ** channels where all the pumpers and tech lovers are. These big tech boys are successful at tech, not energy, not this or that, only tech. When these type of people come out and expand in to other markets, they create huge risks because that is not their proven track record. With tech the only means to survive is to grow grow, profits come last, if we can't think of something new then we need out other companies. It works until it hits the fan and dies like now. Realise that Mark Zuckerberg was absolutely on the ball 15 years ago with Facebook and that is absolutely his forte and contribution to the world. But I can tell you now I have seen many many many many many social media platforms, and trust me they all come and go and they all die and get replaced. If you like Elon, or you like Zucker, or you like MCB, you should like them because they are experts in their areas and they have developed successful companies out of it, and you should run like the wind when these aspiring oligarchs try and expand in to other markets.
