The cheer squad for MCB is very active today, nothing of substance so far from him bar a two page plan for a plan. Two matters we all agree on ie MCB a very successful entrepreneur with his his software company and the outgoing AGL Board has a lot to answer for given the perilous state of the company. I fail to understand that he is portrayed by some as the saviour of the AGL on the basis of some perceived commercial deity. There is many a trail of successful business types moving from their own private companies to failing miserably for all a publicly listed company with the attendant reporting and accountability obligations. Very bold predictions by some as to herculean gains in the AGL sp but reducing or eliminating dividends (work that one out, given the correlation between sp and dividends), when there is an escapable inverse link between woke green policies and company sp performance eg ANZ and WBC just for starters.
