Why not start now or better still several years ago
Do you need to own the old power plant to do that ?
Capital that could be used to build new green

He has said he needs more expensive power to be competitive
There are 100 year old generators still running and need no more work than the current ones being repaired
Green is not maintenance free


3 "He won't invest to fix damaged or broken coal power plants (think Loy Yang) as he will ignore sunken costs"

Argument used to get rid of Melbourne's green trams that after 90 years had a mysterious brake issue that cost too much to fix

Better still the New Parliament was approved on the grounds that it cost $1 million a year to maintain the old yet it still stands as a historic building ,The New parliament cost $1 BILLION to build to save $1 MILLION is maintainence on the old and we now have two buildings needing repairs
At the time interest on the $1 Billion would have got you 10% on your money or $100 million a year or 100 years of repair cost per year

Experts are employed and rubber stamped by the board

Well we know what that means . Coal is dead and nothing you can show to prove otherwise is valid , which means NO ethics
