The US bailout is B/S. It will save some of their major institutions but will not save the market. The problem is no longer $400b-$500b in toxic debt, but the total amounts of write downs in the market. This is now many, many trillions. This is not going to magically reappear on the lenders books. I fail to understand why some here dismiss large dollar amounts as if it is nothing. You cannot be living in the same world as me. The system is collapsing because there is no credit so how in the hell can you ignore this fundamental and believe that we will be singled out as the lucky company and be given all that we need by anyone? The market will continue to tank with occasional jerks to the upside. Those with low O/H and cash reserves will survive, those who put their heads in the sand and ignore what is happening around them will perish. No more dreaming. Lets GET REAL. Norm
