Wrong studies of ancient times have come along a far way since then. The Spartan council would have no one sitting in it...LOL. Watch the history channel some good programs and you will get a shock how "little" we have advanced in real terms.
No a shot at you mate just that I got a shock at Uni when I was doing a couple of units in Ancient history. BTW their medicine was very good too. Big difference has been they didn't get as "sick as us i.e. the more you can cure the worse the gene pool.
