For all of you whom think this is racist, its not. Useless is useless regardless of race.

Now if your information was better then you may find there have been HR issues at the plant with the skill level of employees. You might find that their has already been some bloodletting of personell that have failed to perform their duties and have caused delays to production.

Machinery gets the blame though because its easier to blame a machine and wear the ensuing market wrath than tell the market that there are HR issues with their Malaysian workforce.

Do you see the same issues in the concentration plant - nope.

Do you think the engineers that designed the plant were that dumb that they are still replacing bits and pieces now - nope.

Do you think that anyone would employ the design firm of LAMP again if they were that bad? - nope.

They would be sued by LYC if they were at fault for these huge production delays.

Seriously if the plant components are right then what is left??? Human capital.

There has been no explaination of why we are not now operating at nameplate.

We have been asking the questions but I think its pure political correctness that stops them making the call to sack the useless and get the thing on track.

If thats the case then its not a business, its a sheltered workshop and we are the ones footing the bill.

And this thread could be about anything and the same arguments would be trotted out that we have seen from the same posters time and time and time and time again....

Maybe its time for some to get a new harp to play, or take their own advice and seek out new information to inform their opinion.

But nope...just keep pumping out the same old garbage to explain anything right???

Its either the chinese, the manipulators, the management or you need to understand the ore and chemical engineering etc etc...

What I am proposing is probably closer to the mark than you would like to believe...no its racist to call a worker useless and ask that they get the right skill to make the thing work.

Its a common problem in countries that demand local content for foreign projects. Just look at our Collins submarine program lol.
