Isn't dependent on relative volume rather than number of shares....

    Isn't dependent on relative volume rather than number of shares. My understanding is you can't put a number on it eg bhp is never going to sell a 100 million shares in a day. However if the average daily doubles then you take notice. Is this right or have I got it all wrong.
