hard to think how this eu problem doesn't stem from when clinton introduced the "give everyone a homeloan" policy. to me that signalled a green light to the banksters that the govt didn't care whether it got its money back or not so they became risker and risker in the knowledge that the govt would bail them out at the peoples expense. part of the risk taking was enabling the eu who played along with bells on.
