That miningaustralia article speculates that the Chinese are buying uneconomic iron ore mining operations in order to flood the market with ore even if they lose money, because there will be a net saving to China if the iron ore price drops. That strikes me as a ludicrous economic proposition, but let's assume they are doing that and have now moved on to coal. So they are now buying uneconomic coal mining operations. Like Cockatoo, you mean? Where is the logic? If it's uneconomic, shouldn't we be grateful they are taking it off our hands?
Your article is 7 years old, Tig. It is xenophobic, paranoid, and probably racist. Please make some coherent arguments as to why this CR is unfair to existing holders. Please don't include wild allegations about directors conducting insider-trading, making secret deals, and planning a cushy option issue, unless you have some evidence.
