    Even though experience is important, I think that the word is grossly misunderstood and overrated at times.

    I have seen people at their jobs for years and still as useless as the day they arrived.

    It also depends on the type of experience you get. Quality experience as opposed to useless mundane experience.

    I wouldn't be wasting my time in an area which has no prospects. As a business person you should do the research and hunt out the best areas and stick to them.

    Time is your most precious commodity and anyone who wastes it should be avoided.
