What is funny is that Muchea actually backs onto a housing development in Yanchep, I've driven through Muchea years ago with my brother in his land cruiser as a alternate way to get back to the highway to the airport. He has a rental property in Yanchep. It borders next to houses, schools, shopping areas etc, can only imagine when the winds blowing the right way it will rain dust on everything and probably cause health issues for people breathing it in because there will be no more low lying scrub anymore to dampen it down because it's will all get dug to get that silica and it's so dry there. Oh and how about the noise pollution, going to need to be pretty quiet plant to run 24/7.

    Sounds tricky getting permits.

Maybe also google the some of the names that make the top 20 shareholders, there's a slippery gypsy in there with a pretty chequered history.

    Good luck....
