Totally agree that they need to get it out into users hands ASAP. They should be able to do so quicker than with the initial iOS release since most of the backend API work and model training (for Autopilot) can be reused. They’d probably have it out in beta first so that’s something to look forward to.
Though on the metrics, I think it does matter that we get an accurate representation of this especially with such a big gap (-50% vs +12% for iOS vs Android from the two sources above) because it shows whether the team is making sound decisions regarding how best to target the market with what they have.
