Crazy though, pa, how poor the sentiment was towards QRN pre-float. I think everyone thought it was going to be another TLS- marketed to mums and dads, and would sink. Sometimes, the powers that be just make these things work. Nothing saved the governor-general (Myer) for its float.
Sometimes these analysts create sentiment. Sometimes I read of a buy or sell recommendation in the AFR and just know the stock is going to be affected. Rightly or wrongly, sometimes I sell the stock if it has a sell recommendation on it, hoping that I can get it before others read the article. :D Just like a lemming I am.
Back onto Myer, from an article in this morning's AFR:
It says that MYR has the 4th largets internal rate of return of all the large cap industrials. Beating MYR are LEI, DOW and PPT :+/) It also has lists for small caps and resources stock. It would be nice to think MYR could pull through this. As a non-holder yet, though, I'm still seeking the bottom.
