I read all these comments about how quickly a home can be paid off but do those who are making these remarks actually do a budget to show it's possible?
On the old Lotus spread sheet program they had a mortgage program where you could calculate the payments and do what if sceneios, then there are the costs associated with operating an investment property.
I am not saying it can't be done but it appears to be a lot of dreaming rather than an actual calculated plan
If you go for a mortgage the bank manager will be impressed if you have done a budget and cash flow chart to prove you can do what you say yo can
