I'm also nervous, although the recent spike suggests many others don't share this view. I was also a holder during the Shell pull-out, and that was devastating.
Regarding Kora, from the Ophir announcement on 18/10/2010:

"The agreement is subject to a number of conditions including the completion of fundraising by FAR and regulatory approval by the relevant authorities - the AGC joint authority and the Republic of Senegal."
This suggest to me that if we don't have an extension, we don't have participation rights in the KORA drill. Which would "only" leave GB.
Trying to stay positive here, as I'd love to see ME pull his whole game plan together. But this is a sobre reminder of the risks of playing in spec stocks
