Actually schmickboy, I don't think we are allowed to do that, it is against ASX rules.
I recall reading that on a post by another poster who is far more conversant with Algorithmic trading than I am. BTW, the WIKI article only describes the "original and intended" reasons for implementation of Algo trading.
It does not describe the real reasons it is there, to screw the retail customers.
Fortunately BOT trading cannot compete against good strong news, is only effective when there is not much liquidity in the stock.
There is a great deal to learn about the practice - none of it is good for the retail trader.
