re: csl - report this week. CSL, do have a sound business and with products undergoing trials that may prove to be a boon. However, I reckon one of the contributing factors to their climb into the cellar is the strength of the Aussie dollar v the US$ and the strength of the Swiss currency v the Aussie. They are getting hit at multiple levels.
They are not the market leader in IVIG ( a major source of income) and the price has softened remarkably. The materials from Switzerland are getting dearer and then they are being hit by the continueing weakness in the US dollar.
I don't think they have bottomed yet. They and several other companies will provide great value as the market recovers. In the meantime the short sellers are having a field day.
