Helmich may have a negative view but his negative view has largely been right. And if you look at his post it has specific claims and a basis even if you don’t agree. If amp distribute 25 cents in a variety of ways, that is 25 cents off the share price. If the legal actions cost amp $300m that is another 10 cents off the share price. You knock that off the current price and you get to 75 cents a share. Or if you like, take a $250m npat low growth company with $1 billion of debt and you get a similar answer.

Your post about value I agree with if the business was sold off to those who could run the components well and were willing to pay. That is it is the value under quality management. Unlike you, I don’t believe that exists at amp today.
