I believe "it"starts about October 7 or 8, so 12 or 13 days before the real fireworks. I know if I was American I wouldn't want to give charity to Wall Street & Goldman Sachs in particular. One writer on Gold-eagle(forget who) likened it to being mugged once & having the thief return and ask for more because he lost it on the pokies.
Is it possible money could be frozen in Oz? I can remember in the 60s & 70s when Britain & India were (socialist)broke travelers could only take a very few hundred dollars with them- only americans could travel & the planes were always half empty- not like today.
