Here is an observation I would like your perspective on;

It seems that those people who are normally associated with left/labor/democrat advocacy seem to find themselves defending Islam and Islamic migration into Western countries. Why should this be so?

Islamic migrants are unlikely to be socialist voters and have zero affinity with other left wing causes such as gay rights. Islamic people bring some traditional practices to women , children and livestock which must be abhorent to many socialists.

So why are the left supporting Islamic migration? Is it that my enemies enemy is my friend; Islamic organisations are at war with the old foe the USA so they are the frinds of socialism?

How did the left become aligned with Islam?
