jsoho: I did know the former head of "Deutsche Bank" (a German) here in Hong Kong really very well - his wife was/is also from Taiwan and we met through our wives...! We were close friends and often went out together - mainly after he had left German Bank and started his own business.
Unfortuntely, he died of cancer far too young. My wife and I are still very good friends with his wife, that has moved back to Taiwan not too long ago.
I do know that he was quite fond of Simon Murray. Personally, I did not know Simon Murray, however.
