I would prefer one of the newer styled, scout vehicles.
The ones I’ve seen on the telly that are built around the chaise to deflect the blast of the ied’s or a Abraham’s tank.

Obviously, that’s if I ever had to tackle Melbourne or Sydney traffic

I do have a Taliwagon ( Tojo work mate ) for my beach fishing and cray boat work, I think the 75mm might be overkill for my line of work but a twin 50 cal would have some merit

PS I’m glad I wasn’t of an age that put me into greens, browns or tans but hats off to you and any others who had to go into harms way, that’s a tough gig and from those I have met who plied that trade, I know one thing!!
Nobody can say how they would cope unless they wore “the boots”.
