I use a figure of 1.8 billion shares outstanding when doing my sums. The actual figure is a bit less, like 1.78 or something but 1.8 is nice and convenient.
From memory there's something like 500m shares in the Aust. listing and the rest of the 1.3b are London shares? Might have to double check those figures.
