Excellent Announcement.
a) Successful test in a LiIon battery by an independent test house.
b) Properties showing equivalence to Synthetic graphite in regarding performance and conductivity.. Given this was done over 9 month period there must be a level of confidence here because this would imply the electrode did not degrade over time any different to a synthetic equivalent.
What I additionally like is they continue to test including with next generation technology. LMB said they would be a niche player focusing on high end flake graphite applications. Despite all the "hype" and "mis-information" over the past year on what makes up a battery quality flake deposit, LMB have gone out and actually proven their technology is the right stuff with an independent lab and with real testing not powerpoint slides.. Really good job LMB.
Given Geumam used to be a producing mine and the equipment is still there (but would need a maintenance overhaul), I am interested what are the next steps with this deposit.. It mustn't cost a fortune to get it back into production???
