Whitey, this is a surprising result, but I think the consequences have been very overstated. Traders are going to ride the volitility and yes the SP will be all over the shop next week, but this is not the start of the next GFC, and there are a lot of people positioned in cash as you are who will be buyers at some point in the madness.
Could be some bargains next week.
