My last comment was facetious, I know, but the alternative was to write a dissertation on "democracy".
You can't call it democracy when your favoured political party scrapes in over the line with preferences [ie a group of marginalized voters thought they were the least worst] and speak of "misinformed public" when a clear majority don't want somebody to be their representitave. Probably didn't want an archbishop in the first place. I know I didn't.
